Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Tribal Stompy engine centered on Ureni of the Unwritten. The primary strategy focuses on deploying dense 1- and 2-CMC ramp pieces during the opening turns to accelerate into Ureni on Turn 5 (or Turn 4 via Hellkite Courser). Upon entry, Ureni looks at the top eight cards to put a massive Dragon onto the battlefield for free. High-impact hits such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Atarka, World Render, and Old Gnawbone convert this acceleration into an overwhelming airborne threat. The deck closes the game across Turns 6 and 7 using combat damage doubled by Atarka or Thrakkus the Butcher, burn damage from Terror of the Peaks, or infinite combat loops with Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone. Robust protection spells and uncounterable effects safeguard the critical deployment window.
