Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Zombie tribal aristocrats engine led by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. The strategy focuses on deploying resilient Zombie creatures, converting nontoken deaths into Treasure mana and rad counters, and using sacrifice outlets to trigger continuous card draw and life drain. The deck assembles its core engine by Turn 4 and escalates into a lethal board state on Turn 6 using explosive finishers like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bolas's Citadel, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or asymmetric board wipes like Grave Pact and Noxious Ghoul. With dense graveyard recursion through cards like Gravecrawler, Lord of the Undead, and Dread Return, the deck recovers swiftly from board wipes, though it remains vulnerable to targeted exile removal and rest-in-peace style graveyard hate.
