Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Brute Chronologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Brute Chronologist pilots a Grixis tempo engine that uses the end-turn trick to keep tokens, reanimated threats, and permanents that would normally be sacrificed. The primary plan is to cheat out high-impact creatures such as Archon of Cruelty and Massacre Wurm with Sneak Attack, Feldon, Whip of Erebos, and reanimation spells, then use Obeka to cancel all 'beginning of the next end step' triggers. Secondary paths are myriad token swarms with The Master, Multiplied and an infinite hasty loop with Auton Soldier copying Kiki-Jiki. Obeka is the enabler, not the finisher; the hidden commander is Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, since Auton Soldier and every copy effect double as ways to make a nonlegendary Kiki-Jiki.
