Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a Spellslinger Voltron and burn strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Azula alongside cheap evasion equipment like Brotherhood Regalia or Aqueous Form. Once Azula attacks, her Firebending 2 ability generates {R}{R} to immediately fund instant-speed spells during combat. Because Azula copies any spell cast while attacking, single spells like Unleash Fury or Bulk Up duplicate to quadruple her power and deliver lethal commander damage in a single unblockable strike. Card draw instants such as Big Score and Deadly Dispute similarly double in value, keeping hands full of interaction and rituals. Backup lines leverage Magecraft powerhouses Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist, high-end finishers like Crackle with Power, and an infinite mana loop using Dualcaster Mage and Ghostly Flicker. The deck delivers rapid player eliminations while maintaining strong protection through defensive equipment and counterspells.
