Deck overview

This is a classic Golgari Elfball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary game plan is to rapidly deploy a critical mass of mana dorks and lords, then either overrun opponents with an inflated token army or drain them out using Lathril's activated ability. The deck generates explosive mana through elves like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid, leverages untap effects to reuse creatures, and supplements the combat plan with direct drain from Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage. Lathril herself serves as both a token engine (on combat damage) and a finisher (tap ten elves to drain each opponent for 10). The deck is a midrange token-aggro strategy that can win through either combat or repeated drain activations.
