The Sixth and Romana II - Historic isn't it! by ClyDeft

Format: Commander

Commander: The Sixth Doctor and Romana II

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Bant deck amplifies a legendary/historic theme with The Sixth Doctor's copy trigger and Romana II's token cloning. The primary plan is to ramp hard, cast a haymaker legendary, and copy it into a nonlegendary token, then multiply those tokens with Romana. Secondary paths use value engines (Reki, Venat, Chulane, Mister Fantastic) to bury opponents in cards, and one-shot combat pumps (Zopandrel, Elesh Norn, Return of the Wildspeaker) to end the game. K-9 acts as a hidden companion, granting ward and unblockable to legendaries. The deck is fair but explosive, with no infinites-only a growing army of copied legends.
