Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy helmed by Lilah, Undefeated Slickshot. Lilah allows the pilot to exile multicolored instant and sorcery spells as they resolve from hand, plotting them so they can be cast for zero mana on future turns. This plotting mechanic banks spell casts and mana velocity, setting up explosive storm turns where multiple spells resolve back-to-back. The deck converts this flurry of spells into victory through burn damage sources like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription, wide token swarms generated by Talrand, Sky Summoner and Third Path Iconoclast, or copy engines like Thousand-Year Storm. Additionally, the list carries a compact alternate win condition in the Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame infinite token loop. While explosive, the deck relies heavily on keeping its small creature engines alive and requires careful sequencing to maximize spell density.
