Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost recursive creatures like Bloodghast, Forsaken Miner, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, then using symmetric edict creatures such as Fleshbag Marauder and Plaguecrafter to strip opposing boards. When four creatures die in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel and creates an emblem that drains 1 life from target opponent whenever any creature dies anywhere. From that point, the deck leverages card draw from Sephiroth's attack trigger alongside massive life swings from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Exsanguinate to eliminate the table by Turn 7. While the deck boasts high functional redundancy and resilient post-transform drain, its interaction is primarily sorcery speed and it lacks dedicated countermagic or proactive shielding.
