Deck overview

Purphoros, God of the Forge heads an aggressive mono-red token burn strategy designed to eliminate the entire table simultaneously through relentless noncombat damage triggers. Rather than relying on fragile combat attacks that must navigate blockers, the deck uses Purphoros's passive ability to turn every entering creature into 2 direct damage dealt to each opponent. With Purphoros safely deployed on Turn 3 or 4, the deck leverages an army of efficient multi-body Goblin spells such as Krenko, Mob Boss, Mogg War Marshal, Siege-Gang Commander, and Hordeling Outburst. Because Purphoros has native indestructible and noncreature status at low devotion, it easily dodges common creature board wipes. The deck rapidly scales damage with damage doublers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Panharmonicon, or assembles infinite Goblin tokens using Conspicuous Snoop and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. Opponents are typically forced into a lethal Turn 5 onset and Turn 6 finish.
