Deck overview

This Gruul partner deck helmed by Jessica Jones, Private Eye and Hellcat, Undying Vigilante is built around exiling cards from the top of your library and playing them as a secondary hand. Jessica's tap ability scales with her power to exile and cast multiple cards each turn, while Hellcat provides a recursive haste threat that grows over time. The deck leverages a dense web of cast-from-exile payoffs - Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald for token generation, Passionate Archaeologist for direct damage, and Wild-Magic Sorcerer for cascade chains - to convert its unconventional card advantage into board presence and reach. The primary win path is incremental combat damage backed by a Chandra's Ignition finisher on a large creature, with Absorbing Man and Titania doubling all creature damage for a sudden kill. The deck plays a midrange value game, trading traditional draw for exile-based selection and using Gruul's signature haste and mana generation to accelerate its clock.
