Format: Commander

Commander: Gollum, Obsessed Stalker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck wins by gaining life and turning it into opponent loss. Gollum, Obsessed Stalker marks opponents when he deals combat damage, then at your end step each marked opponent loses life equal to the life you gained that turn. You gain life with lifelink creatures, extort, and death triggers, and convert it with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Defiling Daemogoth, doubled by Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Big mana from Crypt Ghast, Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, and Urborg powers Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, Shard of the Nightbringer, Exsanguinate, and Torment of Hailfire. Aetherflux Reservoir with Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top provides a separate loop. The hidden commanders are the Bond effects and Bloodletter.
