king dale

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a hyper-focused Azorius go-wide tokens deck helmed by Bard, King of Dale. The core engine is thirty copies of Hare Apparent: each new copy floods the board with Rabbit tokens equal to the number of other Hares you already control, and Bard doubles every token batch while also doubling every extra card draw. The plan is straightforward-curve out Hares, land Bard, then explode into an overwhelming swarm. Anthems and force-multipliers such as An Unexpected Party, Warren Warleader, Generous Pup, and The Wind Crystal turn the 1/1s lethal, while draw doublers (Teferi's Ageless Insight, Reed Richards, Smartest Man, King T'Challa) keep the gas flowing. There are no infinite combos; victory is pure combat damage, often finished with flying from The Wind Crystal. Blink pieces (Deadeye Navigator, Niko, Light of Hope, Silver Surfer, Cosmic Voyager) re-trigger ETBs for extra tokens and value. The deck plays as a relentless rabbit swarm that snowballs once Bard is online.
