Deck overview

This deck is an Esper tempo strategy centered on Kamiz, Obscura Oculus. The primary game plan deploys low-cost, evasive Rogues during the first two turns, then casts Kamiz on Turn 4 to grant unblockability, card filtering through conniving, and double strike. By pushing combat damage through unimpeded, the deck triggers powerful saboteur effects from cards like Grim Hireling, Quietus Spike, and Oona's Blackguard. The deck leverages discard synergies using Archfiend of Ifnir and Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer to clear opposing boards and replay discarded resources. While it lacks infinite combos, it steadily applies combat pressure, draws cards, and drains life totals until closing the game with heavy combat buffs or an extra turn from Notorious Throng. The deck operates smoothly on curve, though its reliance on creature-based combat makes it vulnerable to sweepers and prolonged games.
