Deck overview

This four-color spellslinger deck helmed by Aragorn, the Uniter leverages a dense core of cheap mana dorks, token-producing spells and permanents, and powerful enchantment-based engines to chain spells and generate overwhelming board states. The primary game plan involves casting a high volume of noncreature spells to trigger multiple payoffs simultaneously - creating armies of tokens from Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, and Kykar, Wind's Fury; drawing cards off Whirlwind of Thought and Jeskai Ascendancy; and draining opponents with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Guttersnipe. The deck's primary win condition is assembling a loop with Jeskai Ascendancy or Intruder Alarm plus a buyback spell (Sprout Swarm or Haze of Rage) and mana-producing creatures to generate infinite mana, infinite creature tokens, and infinite storm count, then finishing via combat with Concordant Crossroads or direct damage.
