Deck overview

A slow Esper control/drain deck built around Y'shtola: the noncreature-spell trigger is the main engine, while the end-step draw rewards table life loss. The plan is to defend with removal, counters, lifelink, and pillow-fort pieces until Sanguine Bond / Enduring Tenacity convert Y'shtola's life gain into more drain. Alisaie/Alphinaud act as a hidden backup pair inside the 99, providing discount and draw. Decorum Dissertation and Emet-Selch repeat noncreature spells. The true finish is usually a large or repeated Exsanguinate. No infinite combo exists; the deck grinds the table down through repeated 3-plus non-creature casts.
