Commander: Helga, Skittish Seer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Bant deck is built around Helga, Skittish Seer as a creature-centric mana engine. The game plan is to ramp into Helga early, then chain mana-value-4-or-greater creatures, each triggering a draw and a +1/+1 counter on Helga, which in turn makes her tap for more mana. Secondary engines like Chulane, Teller of Tales and Prime Speaker Vannifar provide extra card advantage and tutoring. The deck wins by overwhelming combat: a massive Helga, Ghalta, and a trample-boosting Overwhelming Stampede or End-Raze Forerunners to deal lethal damage to the whole table. A solid counter and removal suite helps protect the board state.
