Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck commands the skies under Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early artifact ramp and tribal cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to cast high-mana Dragons ahead of curve. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling the board's offensive power. Direct-damage enablers like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus translate newly cast Dragons into immediate removal and explosive burn. While the deck boasts immense combat damage, flying evasion, and efficient damage-based board wipes like Blasphemous Act, its reliance on high-cost creatures makes it vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and countermagic. It excels at overpowering mid-power tables through relentless aerial aggression and scaling burn triggers.
