Ants Attack by Prophot

Format: Commander

Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a GU counters/token deck built around drawing cards to make The Astonishing Ant-Man huge, then spending its counters to make Insect hordes. The deck uses cheap draw spells, Skullclamp, and Kindred Discovery to feed Ant-Man and counter-doublers like Hardened Scales and Kami of Whispered Hopes. Combat is closed out by Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, Champion of Lambholt, and flying from Wonder or Combine Chrysalis. A secondary plan is Simic Ascendancy's counter based alternative win. Ant-Man, Colony Commander, Adrix and Nev, and Iridescent Hornbeetle add redundancy so the deck does not depend solely on the commander.
