Deck overview

Built around Sauron, the Dark Lord's Ring-tempt draw, this Grixis deck is a midrange amass strategy with a reanimation subtheme. Primary plan: ramp to Sauron, trigger the Ring every turn so he discards and draws four, then convert that card advantage into a huge Army and recursive Wraith beats. Secondary lines use Reanimate and Living Death to cheat big Saurons/Balrog into play, and Scourge of the Throne supplies a double-combat finish. There is no hidden commander: Sauron is the intended engine, while other Sauron legends are powerful payoffs. No infinite mana outlet or compact combo exists, so the game plan is to grind, wipe, and overrun.
