Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spellslinger Aristocrats strategy built around Silverquill, the Disputant. By granting every instant and sorcery spell casualty 1, the commander turns expendable creature tokens into doubled spells. Low-cost token producers like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, and Bitterbloom Bearer feed sacrifice-based draw spells such as Village Rites and Deadly Dispute, generating massive card advantage and burst mana through rituals like Culling the Weak and Dark Ritual. The deck leverages this velocity to establish dominating engines with Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Warren Soultrader, and Sedgemoor Witch. Interactive spells like Swords to Plowshares and Deadly Rollick are copied for board control and recurred with Toshiro Umezawa. Game-ending pressure comes from widespread token drain via Mirkwood Bats, Kambal, Profiteering Mayor, and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, or an overwhelming casualty-doubled Torment of Hailfire.
