Deck overview

This deck is a Jund graveyard reanimator and aristocrats list helmed by Gyrus, Waker of Corpses. The strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns while stocking the graveyard using efficient mill spells and creature tutors like Buried Alive and Grisly Salvage. Once assembled on Turn 4, Gyrus attacks to reanimate temporary token copies of potent utility creatures, entering tapped and attacking. Reanimated creatures such as Plaguecrafter, Ravenous Chupacabra, and Acidic Slime provide continuous board control, while Ziatora's Envoy and Workshop Warchief deliver card advantage and life padding. The deck pairs these attack triggers with oppressive sacrifice engines like Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Desolation to lock opponents out of maintaining creatures or stable mana. It closes games through combat damage backed by mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding.
