This deck is an optimized Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan utilizes efficient low-mana token generators like Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Black Market Connections to produce expendable fodder in the opening turns. On Turn 4, the deck casts Jace and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to transform a disposable token into an overwhelming high-mana threat from the 99, such as Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Void Winnower, or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. By excluding small utility creatures, every polymorph trigger reliably hits a game-warping bomb. Once on the board, these asymmetric lock pieces paralyze opponents' spellcasting, clear opposing creatures, and prevent meaningful interaction. Supported by backup mass polymorph spells like Synthetic Destiny and Mass Polymorph, along with reactive answers and protection pieces like Myrel, Shield of Argive and Flawless Maneuver, the deck closes the game rapidly through massive evasive combat damage and life-doubling effects from Archfiend of Despair.
