Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Grixis discard and resource-denial strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. Its game plan centers on accelerating into symmetrical group-discard effects such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, and Kefka's enters/attack triggers to strip opponents of their hands by Turn 5. It breaks parity through high-yield draw and generation engines like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, Bone Miser, and Kefka's multi-type draw trigger. Once opposing resources are depleted, the deck locks the table down using hate pieces like Opposition Agent, Ashiok, Dream Render, Ensnaring Bridge, and a hard lockout between Possibility Storm and Vexing Bauble. Lethality is achieved through severe attrition punishers including Tergrid, God of Fright, Painful Quandary, Court of Ambition, Rottenmouth Viper, and Kefka's transformed side, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, closing the game on Turn 7.
