Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Grixis Wheels strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan revolves around turning universal card draw into symmetrical life loss, utilizing Nekusar and redundant punishers such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, and Fate Unraveler. The deck establishes its board presence on Turns 1–4 through artifact ramp, pillowfort enchantments like Propaganda, and low-cost punishers. On Turn 5, it triggers critical onset by casting mass wheel effects like Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Whispering Madness, or by locking the board with Teferi's Puzzle Box. These spells force opponents to draw massive quantities of cards, dealing 7 to 21+ damage in rapid bursts. Amplifiers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and infect enablers like Glistening Oil accelerate this clock to close the game on Turn 6. Supported by premier free interaction, the deck defends its win attempts effectively while punishing every opposing draw step.
