Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo five-color Elemental midrange deck commanded by Ashling, the Limitless. Ashling acts as both a massive cost-reduction engine and a token multiplier by granting all Elemental permanent spells in hand an evoke cost of {4} and creating hasty token copies whenever nontoken Elementals are sacrificed. The deck curves out through early mana ramp such as Smokebraider and Farseek, deploying Ashling on turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, the deck begins evoking high-mana Elementals like Mulldrifter, Cavalier of Thorns, and Titan of Industry for four mana, triggering enters-the-battlefield abilities twice and swinging with immediate hasted power. Payoffs like Risen Reef and Elemental Bond replenish the hand at rapid speed, while heavy hitters such as Avenger of Zendikar, Maelstrom Wanderer, Champion of the Path, and Omnath, Locus of Rage generate overwhelming combat pressure and direct damage to close out the game around turn 7.
