Deck overview

This Golgari deck transforms standard aristocrat strategies into an asymmetric powerhouse using Ygra, Eater of All. By turning all other creatures on the battlefield into Food artifacts, Ygra unlocks game-warping interactions: artifact sweepers like Creeping Corrosion and Bane of Progress become one-sided board wipes that eliminate every opposing creature while massively boosting Ygra with +1/+1 counters. Meanwhile, Karn, the Great Creator creates a total activated-ability lockout on all opposing creatures and artifacts. The deck supports this game plan with dense ramp, efficient card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Morbid Opportunist, and resilient recursion. Victory is achieved either through lethal commander combat damage, aristocrat drain from Mirkwood Bats and Blood Artist, or an infinite loop using Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Pitiless Plunderer. The deck applies fast, lethal pressure while continuously dismantling opposing boards.
