Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Midrange strategy that combines the Amass mechanic with Goblin aristocrats synergies, commanded by Sauron, the Dark Lord. In the opening turns, the deck deploys low-cost mana rocks like Talismans and Signets to accelerate into Sauron ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Sauron punishes opponents whenever they cast spells by growing an Orc Army token. When that Army attacks and deals combat damage, it triggers the Ring tempt mechanic, allowing you to discard a depleted hand and draw four fresh cards each turn cycle. The deck converts this steady flow of cards into wide Goblin boards and aristocrat burn through cards like Krenko, Mob Boss, Pashalik Mons, and The Great Goblin. Sauron's steep Ward cost shields him from targeted removal, letting you grind down opposing life totals through evasive combat damage and death triggers.
