Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1-counter combo list helmed by Yuna, Grand Summoner. Yuna is a command-zone mana dork - her tap ability is a mana ability, so she produces the turn she lands - who also loads the next creature you cast with two extra counters and recycles counters off dying permanents onto a new body. The 99 is built to go infinite rather than to Voltron her: Rosie Cotton of South Lane pairs with Scurry Oak or Basking Broodscale for unbounded tokens and counters, Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura untap oversized dorks for infinite mana, and Walking Ballista, Sage of Hours, and Simic Ascendancy cash that mana and those counters into a win. Combat with pumped bodies and proliferate engines is the backup clock. Almost every line lives in the 99, so Yuna is a convenient accelerator and counter-recycler, not the deck's engine.
