Strike package Kaalia by user1978819

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is the engine: the deck curves toward resolving her on turn three or four, then uses her attack trigger to put Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play tapped and attacking. The primary path is combat damage, accelerated by ETB tutors (Rune-Scarred Demon, Burning-Rune Demon, Razaketh) that find Master of Cruelties, damage doublers, or extra-combat creatures. Secondary paths include reanimation and the Bruna/Gisela meld, but these support rather than replace the main plan. There is no hidden commander. Without Kaalia the deck is a slow pile of expensive fliers, so protecting her is central.
