Deck overview

This deck leverages Captain Howler, Sea Scourge to turn looting and wheel effects into massive, lethal combat swings. Supported by low-cost acceleration, the deck consistently deploys Howler on Turn 3 or 4 alongside discard enablers like Merfolk Looter, Frantic Search, and Smuggler's Copter. Whenever cards are discarded, Howler gains substantial power boosts and draws cards upon dealing combat damage, fueling self-sustaining offensive sequences. Key graveyard payoffs such as Wonder and Anger provide essential flying and haste, enabling immediate, unblockable pressure. If the primary commander strategy faces disruption, independent token generators like The Locust God and Drake Haven pivot the board into an overwhelming wide aerial assault.
