Deck overview

This deck utilizes Jace, Multiverse Architect as a 5-color commander and dedicated polymorph engine in the command zone. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost noncreature token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Windcrag Siege, alongside a dense package of 2-CMC mana rocks. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token and flip directly into one of 19 massive game-ending creatures or planeswalkers. Payoffs like Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Sire of Stagnation, Archon of Cruelty, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater establish overwhelming board presence and asymmetric stax locks. The deck supports this game plan with versatile removal spells, board sweepers that double as token creators, and alternate polymorph spells including Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph to close out the game through evasive combat and severe attrition.
