Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is the engine: every Elf or Faerie entering exiles two cards from an opponent, and the deck converts that exile pile into free spells once the Elf/Faerie count is high enough. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Elves, use lords and anthem effects to make them lethal, and supplement with theft effects (Nightveil Specter, Thief of Sanity, Tasha, the Witch Queen, Kotis) that let the deck play opponents' cards. Secondary paths are commander damage via Colossification on Maralen and graveyard recursion with Whip of Erebos and Bloodline Bidding. Tasha is a hidden commander in the 99, reinforcing the theft plan.
