Deck overview

This Esper lifegain-drain control deck helmed by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic aims to control the game through a dense suite of counterspells, removal, pillowfort enchantments, and board wipes while accumulating life from Oloro's command-zone trigger and numerous small lifegain sources. The primary win condition is the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood infinite loop, which converts any lifegain trigger into a table-kill. Secondary wins include Aetherflux Reservoir after a high-life total, Felidar Sovereign / Test of Endurance at 40/50 life, and Exsanguinate for a large mana sink. The deck is not a fast combo; it grinds card advantage through Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Phyrexian Arena, and Oloro's own draw ability, then tutors for the combo pieces while protecting itself with free interaction like Force of Will and Force of Negation.
