Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, leveraging its eminence cost reduction to deploy an army of high-cost Dragons ahead of curve. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, reduce Dragon costs, and overwhelm opponents with flying beaters while generating massive card advantage through attack triggers. The deck's fastest and most reliable win is the Hellkite Charger infinite-combat combo, pairing it with mana-generating Dragons like Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Savage Ventmaw, or Old Gnawbone to chain extra combat steps into lethal damage. Secondary paths include Call the Spirit Dragons' alternate win condition, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon infect damage, and sheer combat inevitability from a wide Dragon board. The commander's attack trigger draws cards and cheats permanents into play, while a robust tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Tiamat, Scion of the Ur-Dragon) ensures the deck finds its key pieces.
