Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Grixis Villain tribal deck that wins by grinding combat damage and incremental drain. The main engine is connive: at the start of combat Doom gives a Villain menace and connives, drawing and discarding to grow the board with +1/+1 counters. Discarding land cards triggers Doom to drain each opponent for 2, stacked with Doom Reigns Supreme and Kang, Temporal Tyrant. Iron Monger, Baron Strucker, Leader, and Prowler multiply connive triggers. Secondary paths use graveyard recursion and mayhem - Behold the Sinister Six!, Carnage, Prison Break, and Green Goblin - to rebuild and cast from the graveyard. Doom is the primary drain and draw engine, but Baron Strucker and Iron Monger act as hidden commanders that keep the Villain plan running without him.
