My First Equipment Deck by tehjaybo

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Azorius artifact/equipment voltron deck built around The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. The plan is to land Thor early, armor her with one of the deck's ~20 Equipment pieces, and turn every Equipment entering or combat hit into card advantage and removal. Thor's attack trigger both answers blockers and re-buys ETBs from artifact creatures, while draws from Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Thor herself keep the engine fed. The deck wins through commander damage, usually by giving Thor double strike and an extra combat with Genji Glove once she is large, then attacking two different opponents in one turn. It is not a combo deck; instead it leans on equipment persistence, cheap equip costs, and trigger-doubling effects like Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Wizard's Staff, and Starfield Vocalist to close out the table.
