Arcades, The Strategist (V1) by Ado_Monte

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Bant toughness-matters deck uses Arcades, the Strategist to turn high-toughness defender creatures into efficient combat threats and sustained card draw. The primary game plan curves cheap Walls to build an impenetrable defense, casts Arcades to immediately draw cards, and attacks with massive toughness-based damage. Evasion and lethal buffs like Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Tower Defense, Akroma's Will, and Triumph of the Hordes close out games swiftly. When combat is contested, the deck pivots into an infinite mana combo using Axebane Guardian or Overgrown Battlement alongside High Alert or Staff of Domination to draw the library and finish the table.
