Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy piloted by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The primary objective is to leverage Veyran's static ability, which duplicates all triggered abilities caused by casting or copying instant and sorcery spells. By pairing Veyran with Magecraft engines such as Archmage Emeritus for massive card draw and Storm-Kiln Artist for self-sustaining Treasure mana, the deck rapidly cycles through its library. Victory is achieved through noncombat burn engines like Gandalf, Goblins' Bane, Mysidian Elder, and Queen Brahne, whose damage output is enhanced by Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage and doubled by Veyran. Supported by cost-reducing creatures, efficient cantrips, and ritual bursts like Mana Geyser, the deck reliably initiates an explosive storm turn on Turn 5 and eliminates all opponents by Turn 6 via burn and lethal commander attacks.
