Deck overview

This deck is a themed Boros Dwarf tribal aggro deck commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The strategy focuses on curving out with low-cost Dwarf creatures on turns 1 through 3 to build an early board state. On turn 5, casting Thorin initiates an explosive artifact engine: every Dwarf entering the battlefield generates a Treasure token, which simultaneously scales the power of all other Dwarves. Supported by legendary tutors such as War of the Last Alliance and thematic payoffs like Bifur, Melodic Rider and Balin, Loremaster, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings around turn 6. It finishes games over two response cycles using team-wide buffs like Shared Animosity and unblockable goad effects like Taunt from the Rampart. While resilient against spot removal through cards like Unbreakable Formation, it remains vulnerable to artifact and creature sweepers.
