Deck overview

Golgari graveyard combo. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with self-mill and Buried Alive, then use Meren's end-step recursion to assemble an infinite sacrifice loop: a persist creature (Putrid Goblin) plus Melira or Renata, a free sacrifice outlet (Viscera Seer or Altar of Dementia), and a drain payoff (Blood Artist, Dreadhound, Syr Konrad, or Mirkwood Bats). Secondary paths use Protean Hulk as a death-trigger tutor and Living Death as mass reanimation. Meren is a repeatable recursion engine, not a combo piece; the deck can win without her. Grist, Voracious Larva // Grist, the Plague Swarm is a value card, not a hidden commander; its front face enables transform value and the back provides tokens and removal.
