Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis control deck commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. It uses symmetrical discard effects to systematically strip opposing hands while breaking parity through card draw and resource engines. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and passive discard punishers like Waste Not and Liliana's Caress. Once Kefka enters the battlefield on turn 4, every enter and attack trigger forces all players to discard while refilling the controller's hand based on the card types discarded. Blink enablers such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Displacer Kitten compound these triggers, while cards like Megrim, Fell Specter, and Psychosis Crawler turn card flow into heavy life loss for opponents. Wheels such as Dark Deal and Windfall generate explosive turns that deplete opposing resources and establish total table control.
