Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon stompy list helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. Its primary game plan uses an extensive suite of one-to-three mana ramp spells and cost reducers to cast Ureni on Turn 5. When Ureni enters the battlefield or attacks, it looks at the top eight cards of the library and cheats a Dragon creature card directly onto the battlefield. This immediately deploys game-ending threats such as Terror of the Peaks, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, and Ancient Silver Dragon without paying their mana costs. Haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest allow immediate combat and repeated triggers, while burn and token engines quickly overwhelm opponents across Turns 6 and 7. The deck generates immense card advantage and board presence, backed by proactive hexproof and countermagic. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and lacking hard stax or targeted creature tutors, its high threat density ensures consistent pressure.
