We Bare Bears by Timtam

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears is a GW creature-combat deck that uses Kudo's base-2/2 setting to turn every token and dork into a relevant Bear, while also shrinking opponents' threats. The primary plan is to develop mana, flood the board with small creatures and tokens, and draw cards off ETB triggers like Welcoming Vampire and Mentor of the Meek. Secondary paths are the Basking Broodscale + Cathars' Crusade infinite loop and Craterhoof Behemoth/Beastmaster Ascension overruns. Kudo also enables Bear payoffs such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Beorn the Fierce, Banner of Kinship, and Three Tree City. Hatebears and protection spells keep the board safe. Wilson, Refined Grizzly is a supporting legendary Bear, not a true hidden commander.
