Deck overview

This deck uses Muldrotha, the Gravetide to turn the graveyard into a second hand. Fetch lands, sacrifice creatures, self-mill, and disposable permanents provide repeated value, while Pernicious Deed, Reclamation Sage, Accursed Marauder, and Spore Frog answer opposing boards. Tatyova, Benthic Druid, The Gitrog Monster, Underrealm Lich, and Black Market Connections can build a substantial resource advantage when they are found and protected. The deck also contains a genuine Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake infinite-mana engine, but it needs a separate payoff and is not the ordinary plan. Its main weakness is speed: Muldrotha, the Gravetide costs six mana, the graveyard is exposed to hate, and the deck has limited protection. It is strongest in longer games where recurring permanents and lands eventually outvalue the table, rather than in fast combo or highly interactive competitive pods.
