Deck overview

Shirei is the recursion engine of a Shadowborn Apostle storm deck. The primary plan is to flood with 30 Apostles, use Shirei to return the sacrificed 1/1s at end step, and tutor a chain of Demons. The hidden commander is Thrumming Stone: a single Apostle cast ripples into every remaining copy, creating the mass sacrifice wave that wins through Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, or Meathook with Bloodletter doubling. Secondary paths are Razaketh/Rune-Scarred tutoring for the finishing pieces and a Liliana's Contract Demon win. Crypt Ghast and Cabal Coffers accelerate the six-plus-mana plays. The commander is crucial but not mandatory; the Apostle package can still search Demons even if Shirei is kept off the battlefield.
