Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Pirate tribal and Treasure-centric midrange strategy commanded by Ramirez DePietro, Pillager. It leverages low-cost, evasive Pirates to connect early in combat, generating consistent Treasure tokens and exiling playable cards from opponents' libraries. With support from engines like Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, Grim Hireling, and Academy Manufactor, the deck rapidly scales its artifact count and mana availability. This Treasure stockpile transitions directly into win conditions such as an upkeep trigger from Revel in Riches, massive drain from Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge, or overwhelming table control through stolen high-impact spells. A lean counterspell suite and targeted removal provide reliable protection while executing the game plan.
