Deck overview

Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival is the engine and win condition: you select an opponent's creature, kill it to transform into Shinryu, and then make that player lose so you win. The rest is a mono-black midrange package that ramps, threats, and control-oriented survival. The deck uses life multiplication (half loss), commander damage, and equipments to quickly close out the target player, but it has almost no countermagic and only one cheap transform trigger per cast. The commander is both its central acceleration and its fragile fulcrum; the rest of the deck is built to get him online and speed up the kill.
