Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Spellslinger Burn strategy led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The primary game plan centers on deploying efficient group-slug creatures and tokens that deal noncombat damage whenever noncreature spells are cast. Kuja provides steady token generation by creating 0/1 Wizard tokens on end steps, eventually transforming into Trance Kuja to double all Wizard damage. The 99 backs this strategy with redundant pingers, damage amplifiers, and low-cost draw and burn spells that steadily chip away at all opponents simultaneously. While the deck boasts immense redundancy in its burn triggers and can pivot smoothly even if Kuja is removed, it lacks high-end countermagic and stack protection, leaving its small creature base vulnerable to sweepers. Overall, it applies broad, symmetrical pressure across the entire table, converting every cheap instant or sorcery into multi-target noncombat damage.
