Deck overview

This Dimir partner deck combines the relentless card draw of Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools with the flexible copying power of Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. Its primary objective is assembling the compact, game-ending combination of Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, which wins the game on turn 5 for only three mana. Black tutors such as Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Diabolic Intent search up missing pieces while Tevesh creates sacrificial Thrulls to keep resources flowing. The deck shields its winning turn with top-tier free countermagic, including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation. When opponents disrupt the primary combo, the list seamlessly transitions into an adaptive clone strategy. It copies the strongest threats at the table, steals opposing commanders with Gilded Drake and Treachery, and overwhelms opponents with massive token swarms using Sakashima's Will or kicked Rite of Replication.
