Deck overview

This Azorius (W/U) deck is a token-generation and card-draw engine built around Bard, King of Dale. Bard doubles every card draw after the first each turn and doubles every token creation event, turning modest draw triggers into explosive board states. The deck is densely packed with "whenever you draw your second card each turn" payoffs - Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Emrakul's Messenger, Minn, Wily Illusionist, Prince Imrahil the Fair, and others - that create a relentless army of fliers, Soldiers, and Eldrazi Spawn. Token doublers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus further multiply the board. The primary win condition is combat: a massive, evasive token swarm finished by Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will. Secondary win conditions include Approach of the Second Sun, Laboratory Maniac, Triskaidekaphile, and Twenty-Toed Toad - all enabled by the deck's ability to draw huge numbers of cards. A robust interaction suite of counterspells, free spells, and turn-protection pieces keeps the plan on track.
